Automatic and Self-Serve Dog Washing Machines for Vet Clinics
Your team puts a boarding dog or a patient going home into the washing chamber and gets back to work. Or clients pay on the screen and wash their own dog. A full wash and dry averages 20 to 30 minutes, then the empty chamber is sanitized.
- 20 to 30 minute wash and dry, start to finish
- Washing chamber sanitized with ozone and UV after every dog
- Built, assembled and tested in our own factory
Clean Dogs at Discharge Without Tying Up Your Team
Automatic dog washing machines for vet clinics take over a job your team already does at the tub, and self-serve dog washing machines for vet clinics let clients do it themselves.
Think of the baths a practice already gives or gets asked for. Boarding dogs before collection. Dogs that arrive muddy. Patients going home after a stay. A client who asks for a wash after a routine visit.
Today, veterinary technicians, nurses or kennel assistants fit that work in between other tasks. Our two models give you two routes: staff-run washes on the SE-2025A, and client self-serve on the FA-2025A.
For a staff-run wash, a team member puts the dog in and picks a short, medium or long coat program. The machine then runs the wash, rinse and warm-air dry. For self-serve, the client pays on the 21.5-inch touchscreen and starts the cycle. Clinics are one of eight business types we build for; see how other businesses use a dog wash.
Self-Serve Dog Washing Machines for Vet Clinics: Four Reasons They Fit
Each reason comes from how a practice runs day to day: patients, kennels, reception and hygiene.
Staff Time Goes Back to Patients
A tub bath ties up one of your nurses or kennel assistants from start to finish. An automatic dog washer runs the whole cycle while that person returns to the kennel ward or the treatment room. Three presets cover short, medium and long coats, and you set the wash and dry time of each program in the backend.
Sanitizing Between Dogs Is Part of the Cycle
Once the dog is out, ozone, ozonated water and UV sanitize the empty washing chamber before the next one goes in. The UV includes a 265 nm UVC-LED module rated IP68. That supports a more hygienic washing environment between patients, alongside your hygiene protocols rather than in place of them. Read how the washing chamber is sanitized between dogs.
Wet, Muddy Dogs Stay Out of the Waiting Room
The wash happens inside an enclosed chamber, and 360° warm-air drying runs before the door opens, so the dog leaves dried. Put the machine in a back-of-house room or a client wash room with its own door, and washing stays out of your reception flow. It works indoors and outdoors.
Your Products, Your Settings
Five independent dispensers, each with a 5 L tank, dose shampoo and conditioner automatically at a set ratio. Your clinic decides what goes in them, for example a hypoallergenic or deodorizing shampoo, sourced locally or from our own shampoo factory. A thermostatic heater holds the water at the temperature you set, with dual temperature protection tested before shipment.
How clinics use the machine
| Clinic use | Who runs it | How it is paid | Model fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Boarding dogs before collection | Staff | Included in the boarding fee, or charged separately | SE-2025A |
| Clean-up after a routine visit, on request | Staff | Per wash, or included | SE-2025A (staff can finish by hand in manual mode) |
| Client self-serve wash during opening hours | Client | POS cashless payment on the touchscreen | FA-2025A; SE-2025A also takes POS cashless and flexible payments as standard |
| After-hours self-serve | Client, unattended | POS cashless as standard; cards and cash through the optional payment add-ons | FA-2025A (operates 24/7 with no staff) |
| Wash included in a wellness plan or package | Client or staff | Memberships, session packages and coupons | SE-2025A; FA-2025A with the optional backend and membership plan |
Where to Place a Dog Wash in a Veterinary Practice
Most practices have three workable positions for a commercial dog wash station. Choose by who will run the wash, then check the building against the table below.
Back of House, Near the Kennel Ward
For staff-run washes. A kennel assistant walks the dog from its kennel to the machine without crossing the waiting room or passing the exam rooms. If the kennel ward already has a floor drain within 3 m, the supplied DN40 hose reaches it without extra pipework.
A Client Wash Room With Its Own Door
For client self-serve. A small room with an exterior door lets clients bring the dog in, pay at the dog wash station and leave without walking through reception. A wet, muddy dog and the sound of drying stay away from patients waiting for appointments.
Outdoors, Beside the Entrance or Car Park
For after-hours self-serve on the FA-2025A, which can run 24/7 with no staff. Both models work indoors and outdoors and adapt to hot and humid climates. For a site with cold winters, we confirm the operating temperature range first.

The Business Case for a Dog Wash in Your Clinic
We don’t publish typical earnings for clinics, because the return on dog wash equipment depends on figures only your practice has. These are the three ways a clinic uses it, and what to estimate for each.
Staff-Run, Included in a Service
Here the return is staff time, mostly at discharge and in boarding. Estimate it from your own numbers: dogs washed per week, multiplied by the time your team spends on a tub bath today. The wash can sit inside the boarding fee or appear as a separate charge.
Client Self-Serve, Paid per Wash
You set the price per wash and the opening hours in the backend (on the FA-2025A, the smart management backend is an option). Clients pay by POS cashless payment on the touchscreen. The FA-2025A operates 24/7 as a self-service machine, so the wash stays open after the practice closes. See pricing, opening hours and payment settings.
Bundled Into Plans and Packages
If your practice already sells wellness plans or boarding packages, a wash can sit inside them. The backend supports membership top-up, stored value, session packages, session cards and coupons. On the FA-2025A the membership plan is an option, so include it when you request a quote.
Running costs per wash
- About 40 to 50 L of water
- About 1.5 kWh of electricity
- Roughly 30 ml of shampoo and conditioner
Multiply each by your local rates. Longer programs use more, which is why we don’t quote a single cost per wash.
Which Drezen Model Suits a Vet Clinic?
For Staff-Run Washes: SE-2025A
The SE-2025A dual-mode dog washing machine runs automatic and manual modes. Staff can switch to manual at any time on the touchscreen and finish with the handheld spray and dryer, and a hesitant dog can start in manual mode. POS cashless and flexible payments are standard.
For Client Self-Serve and After Hours: FA-2025A
One fully automatic cycle with no manual mode, running 24/7 with no staff. POS cashless payment is standard; flexible payments, the smart management backend, the membership plan and a monitoring camera are options. A pet interaction window lets the owner reach in during the wash.
The FA-2025A takes less floor space (1100 × 1100 mm against 1880 × 1430 mm). Check its 535 × 820 × 870 mm washing chamber against the largest dogs you see, and its 2134 mm height against doors and ceilings. Need one machine for both jobs? Tell us which use matters more, and we will configure the quote around it.
Concerns Clinic Teams Raise Before Ordering
Is It Hygienic Enough for a Clinic?
After every wash, ozone, ozonated water and UV sanitize the empty washing chamber, and ozone breaks down into oxygen shortly after use. During the bath, ozonated water supports cleaning and helps reduce odors. The machine supports a more hygienic washing environment. It works alongside your clinic’s own cleaning and hygiene protocols, not in place of them.
Our Patients Can Be Anxious or Unwell
Not every dog accepts a dog washing machine on the first visit, and matted coats still need a groomer. The large door window keeps the dog in view. On the SE-2025A, staff can switch to manual mode at any time, or start a hesitant dog in manual mode. The FA-2025A has a pet interaction window. Which patients use the machine is a clinical decision for your team.
We Have No Spare Hands to Look After Another Machine
Routine care is a refill and hygiene check about every 2 weeks across the five 5 L tanks. There is no scheduled component replacement. The 12-month warranty covers parts that fail from a manufacturing defect, replaced free with original factory parts, and we send video guidance for troubleshooting. Lifetime technical support is online 24/7, and software upgrades are free. See what routine upkeep involves.
Our refill and hygiene check routine sets out each step.
Vet Clinic Dog Wash FAQ
Can clients use the machine without a member of staff?
Yes. Clients pay by POS cashless payment on the touchscreen and start the wash themselves. The FA-2025A operates 24/7 as a self-service machine, with an optional built-in camera for real-time monitoring. You set prices and opening hours in the backend; on the FA-2025A the smart management backend is an option, so name it when you request a quote.
Can we stock the shampoos our clinic already recommends?
Yes. The machine has five independent dispensers, and your clinic chooses what goes in each one. Buy shampoo and conditioner locally or from Drezen’s own shampoo factory. The number of dispensers can also be customized.
What size of dog fits?
Both models accommodate full-sized dogs, with no weight restriction. Check that against the washing chamber: the FA-2025A chamber measures 535 × 820 × 870 mm. If your clinic sees many giant breeds, ask us before you choose.
How long does one wash take, and can we plan it around collection times?
A full wash and dry takes 20 to 30 minutes on average. There are three programs, for short, medium and long coats, and you set the wash and dry time of each in the backend. That gives your team a known slot to plan before a boarding dog is collected.
