Automatic and Self-Serve Dog Washing Machines for Apartments

A resident pays on the touchscreen or uses a credit and picks a program for short, medium or long coats. The machine washes, rinses and warm-air dries the dog in 20 to 30 minutes on average, then sanitizes the empty washing chamber. It connects to water, drainage and power only.

A Dog Wash Between the Dog Run and the Front Door

Automatic dog washing machines for apartments give residents a place to wash the dog before it comes back inside. Your community may already charge pet rent or a pet fee and keep a dog run or pet relief area. After a wet walk, the dog still crosses the lobby, rides the elevator and walks the corridor to the unit. Some residents bathe it in the unit’s tub, and the hair goes into that unit’s drains.

We build two models for this, theFA-2025A and the SE-2025A,, compared side by side further down. Residents run self-serve dog washing machines for apartments on their own, the way they already use your fitness room or package room.

At the machine, the resident pays or uses a credit on the 21.5-inch touchscreen and picks the short, medium or long coat program. The wash, rinse and 360° warm-air dry follow, then ozone, ozonated water and UV sanitize the empty washing chamber. To compare settings, see how other types of sites use a dog wash.

Self-Serve Dog Washing Machines for Apartments: Why They Fit Your Community

In an apartment community, the dog wash sits inside a building where people live, beside amenities you already run.

Dogs Are Warm-Air Dried Before They Go Back Inside

The dog is washed with a 360° fine mist and dried with 360° warm air inside an enclosed washing chamber, not in a unit’s bathtub. Wash water leaves through the machine’s own DN40 drain connection; the building provides a drain point within reach of the supplied 3 m hose. The dog reaches the lobby and elevator after the dryer, not before.

It Runs After the Leasing Office Closes

The backend supports 24-hour unattended operation, and the FA-2025A operates 24/7 as a self-service machine, with the smart management backend as an option. You set opening hours in the backend, so the last wash can end before your community’s quiet hours begin. A physical emergency stop sits beside pause and emergency buttons on the touchscreen; the emergency button opens the door automatically.

A Sanitized Chamber for the Next Resident's Dog

In a shared amenity room, one resident’s dog follows another’s. After each wash, ozone, ozonated water and UV sanitize the empty washing chamber, with a 265 nm UVC-LED module rated IP68. That supports a more hygienic washing environment between residents’ dogs.

How ozone and UV sanitize the washing chamber

It Fits the Way You Charge for Pet Amenities

POS cashless payment on the touchscreen is standard on both models. For pet rent or amenity fee schemes, membership top-up, stored value, session packages and coupons can serve as resident credits (membership plan optional on FA-2025A). Card terminal, banknote acceptor and third-party online payment are add-ons; flexible payments are standard on SE-2025A and optional on FA-2025A.

Planning an Apartment Dog Wash Station: Where It Goes

An apartment dog wash station belongs on the route residents already walk with their dogs, between the dog run and the resident entrance, and away from walls shared with homes.

Illustrative layout, not a real installation.

A

A Ground-Floor Pet Wash Room

Choose a room close to the resident entrance nearest the dog run, with a floor drain within reach of the 3 m drain hose. The machine exhausts 20% of its airflow as humid air and uses ozone, so ventilation is a site check. how ozone is vented]. Until a noise level is published, avoid a wall shared with a unit.

B

Beside the Dog Run or Pet Relief Area

The machine stands where residents already finish the walk. It works indoors and outdoors and is adaptable to hot and humid climates.

C

In the Parking Garage, Near the Resident Entrance

Residents returning by car have a short walk with the dog. A garage position needs a drain point, a dedicated power circuit and protection from vehicles, such as bollards or a curb. Check the 4G or Wi-Fi signal below ground. An unheated garage raises the same temperature question as option B.

The Business Case for a Dog Wash in Your Community

A community can fund the amenity three ways. Each rests on your own figures, so we give the drivers, not a forecast.

Option 1

A Free Amenity the Property Pays For

The property carries the machine cost from your quote, the running costs and staff time for refill checks, spread across your pet-owning households. If you track renewals among residents with pets, this is one more amenity in that picture.

Option 2

Included in Pet Rent or an Amenity Fee

Your monthly cost is pet-owning households multiplied by the washes included each month, multiplied by the running cost per wash. Session packages, coupons and stored value carry the included washes, with the membership plan optional on FA-2025A. How much pet rent or amenity fee to charge is a decision for you and your counsel.

Option 3

Paid per Wash by Residents

You set the price per wash and the opening hours in the backend (an option on FA-2025A), and residents pay with POS cashless payment on the touchscreen. The driver is residents per week who would use it, multiplied by your price, minus running costs. Label any worked example as a hypothetical and state its assumptions.

Running costs per wash

Multiply these by your local rates.

Concerns Property Managers Raise Before Ordering

Will Residents Next Door Hear It or Smell It?

We have not yet published a noise leve. Until we do, keep the machine away from walls shared with homes and set opening hours in the backend (an option on FA-2025A) so washes end before quiet hours. On smell, ozonated water is used during the bath to support cleaning and help reduce odors. As 20% of the airflow leaves as humid exhaust,

What Happens When a Resident Uses It After Hours?

Both models have a physical emergency stop and a touchscreen emergency button that opens the door automatically, plus three RCBO devices for leakage and overload protection. The heater’s dual temperature protection is tested before shipment. Wash data goes to the backend (optional on FA-2025A); FA-2025A has an interaction window and an optional built-in camera. Whether the owner must stay with the dog.

Our Maintenance Team Is Already Stretched

Apartment Dog Wash FAQ

Can we limit the dog wash to residents?

Membership top-up, stored value, session packages and coupons can serve as resident credits (the membership plan is optional on FA-2025A). Placing the machine inside an access-controlled amenity room uses your building’s own access control. Resident-only access on the machine itself, or a link to your access control or property management software

For washes included in pet rent or an amenity fee, session packages and coupons can be issued to residents. You set prices and opening hours in the backend, an option on FA-2025A. Fee amounts and lease terms belong to your own pet policy and counsel.

Assembled widths are 1430 mm (SE-2025A) and 1100 mm (FA-2025A); heights are 1672 mm and 2134 mm. The SE-2025A weighs approx. 470 kg net; FA-2025A weight. Both ship fully assembled in a wooden crate with removable bottom rollers; Measure every door, corridor and the elevator car on the route.

The FA-2025A washing chamber is 535 × 820 × 870 mm and accommodates full-sized dogs, with no weight restriction; the SE-2025A chamber. Largest breed tested. Not every dog accepts a dog washing machine on the first visit, and matted coats still need a groomer. The large window keeps the dog in view; SE-2025A can switch to manual at any time.
