For campground and RV park owners
Automatic and Self-Serve Dog Washing Machines for RV Parks and Campgrounds
Guests back from a trail, beach or lake pay on the touchscreen and choose a program by coat length. The machine washes, rinses and warm-air dries the dog in 20 to 30 minutes on average, then sanitizes the empty washing chamber. It connects to water, drainage and power only.
- Three programs for short, medium and long coats
- Galvanized steel body with a high-strength outdoor coating
- Wi-Fi or 4G, with a SIM slot for remote sites
Before the Dog Goes Back Into the RV
Drezen builds automatic dog washing machines for RV parks and campgrounds that already welcome dogs. Our two models, the SE-2025A and the FA-2025A, give a wet or sandy dog somewhere to go before it heads back inside.
A guest returns from the trail, the beach or the lake, and the dog goes straight to the RV, the tent or a rental unit. Some guests rinse the dog in the bathhouse showers or with the water hookup at their site, which leaves hair in the shower drains and mud around the pad. Self-serve dog washing machines for RV parks give guests a proper place for that job.
The machine stands beside your dog run or near the bathhouse. The guest pays on the 21.5-inch touchscreen and picks one of three programs, for short, medium or long coats. The machine then runs the wash, the rinse and a 360° warm-air dry. Once the dog is out, ozone, ozonated water and UV sanitize the empty washing chamber for the next guest.
Self-Serve Dog Washing Machines for RV Parks: Why They Fit Your Park
Your park already has the dogs. These four points cover how the machine fits the way a campground runs.
Dogs Get Washed Somewhere Other Than the Bathhouse
The dog stands in an enclosed washing chamber, not a shower stall or beside a site’s water hookup. A 360° fine mist wets the coat evenly, and 360° warm air dries it before the dog leaves. Wastewater runs out through the machine’s own DN40 drain connection, so the park only needs a drain point within reach of the supplied 3 m hose.
Open When the Check-In Office Is Not
Guests come back from a late hike after the office has closed. The backend supports 24-hour unattended operation, and FA-2025A operates 24/7 as a self-service machine. You set opening hours in the backend, so washes can stop before your park’s quiet hours begin. A physical emergency stop sits on the machine, and the touchscreen emergency button opens the door automatically.
A Sanitized Chamber Between One Guest's Dog and the Next
Transient guests may stay a night or two, so one dog follows another through the same machine. After each wash, ozone, ozonated water and UV sanitize the empty washing chamber, using a 265 nm UVC-LED module rated IP68. That supports a more hygienic washing environment from one guest’s dog to the next. Read how the chamber is sanitized between dogs.
Made to Stand Outdoors Near the Campsites
The machine works indoors and outdoors and is adaptable to hot and humid climates. We cut, weld and spray its galvanized steel body in our own workshops, with an anti-rust, scratch-resistant surface treatment and a high-strength outdoor coating. Core components are IP65-rated, and a protective outer cabinet is available as an option.
How Your Park Can Offer It
| Amenity model | Who pays | How it is set up | What to decide first |
|---|---|---|---|
| Included in the site fee or pet fee | The park | Guests start a wash at no charge | Who may use it, and how the park covers running costs |
| Pay per wash | The guest, at the machine | POS cashless payment on the touchscreen; card terminal, banknote acceptor and third-party online payment available as add-ons | Your price per wash and the opening hours, both set in the backend |
| Prepaid washes for seasonal and long-stay guests | The guest, in advance | Session packages, stored value, membership top-up or coupons | How many washes each package holds and how guests receive it |
Placing a Dog Wash on Your Campground: Where It Goes
Three positions work in most parks. Each one needs water, a drain, power and a level pad, and a clear route for delivery.
Put the dog wash on the route guests already walk with their dogs, between the dog run or trailhead and the campsites. Keep it close to existing water, drain and power where you can, and away from campsites and tent pitches where quiet hours apply.
A
Beside the Dog Run or Pet Area
Guests already finish their walk here, so nobody has to change their route. The machine stands outdoors on a firm, level base that can carry its weight: approx. 470 kg for SE-2025A. Water, drain and power may need running from the nearest building. The protective outer cabinet is an option at this spot.
B
Next to the Bathhouse or Guest Laundry
Water, drain and power may already be close by, which can shorten the utility runs. Check under local rules whether dog wash wastewater, with its hair and shampoo, may go into the same sewer or septic system. If the machine stands inside a room, plan ventilation for its humid exhaust, which is 20% of the airflow, and for ozone
C
Near the Check-In Office and Camp Store
Guests pass it on arrival, and your staff are close by during office hours for refill checks and questions. The office Wi-Fi may reach this spot. Keep the machine clear of RV traffic and turning lanes, and protect it from vehicles with bollards or a curb.
The Business Case for a Dog Wash at Your Park
Build the estimate from your own records: the months you are open, occupancy across peak and shoulder season, and the share of bookings that bring a dog. Then spread the machine cost over the months the park operates, not the whole year.
Included in the Site Fee or Pet Fee
The park covers the cost, and guests wash their dogs at no extra charge. Work it out as the machine cost from your quote, plus running costs, plus staff time for refill checks, divided across the season’s stays with a dog. If you already track what guests with dogs say in reviews, this is one more amenity in that picture.
Paid per Wash by Guests
You set the price per wash and the opening hours in the backend. Guests pay by POS cashless payment on the touchscreen, with a card terminal, banknote acceptor or third-party online payment available as add-ons. The estimate is dogs washed per week in season, multiplied by your price, minus running costs. Compare pricing, hours and payment options.
Prepaid Washes for Seasonal and Long-Stay Guests
Seasonal and monthly guests can buy washes in advance through session packages, stored value, membership top-up or coupons; on FA-2025A the membership plan is optional. The estimate is your seasonal or monthly sites, multiplied by the washes in each package, multiplied by the running cost per wash.
Running costs per wash
- About 40 to 50 L of water
- About 1.5 kWh of electricity
- Shampoo and conditioner: roughly 30 ml
Multiply each by your local rates. On a well or septic system, that water is also a load on the park’s own supply and wastewater system.

Three Concerns Park Operators Raise Before Ordering
What Happens to the Machine When the Park Closes for Winter?
We have not yet published an operating temperature range or steps for draining and storing the machine through a closed season. What we can state now: it works indoors and outdoors, it is adaptable to hot and humid climates, its core components are IP65-rated, and a protective outer cabinet is available. If your park has freezing winters, raise it before you order so the quote covers it.
See the refill and hygiene check routine →
Will Guests on Nearby Sites Hear It?
We have not yet published a noise level for either model. Until we do, place the machine away from campsites and tent pitches, and set opening hours in the backend so washes end before quiet hours. On smell, ozonated water is used during the bath to support cleaning and help reduce odors. Outdoors, the humid exhaust, 20% of the airflow, goes into open air.
Who Looks After It When Staff Are Stretched in Peak Season?
Plan a refill and hygiene check about every 2 weeks across the five 5 L shampoo tanks; there is no scheduled component replacement. Three RCBO devices protect against leakage and overload, and wash data is recorded in the backend. Our 12-month warranty replaces parts that fail from a manufacturing defect free, with original factory parts. You also get video troubleshooting guidance and lifetime technical support, online 24/7. RV Park Dog Wash FAQ
Can we hand guests prepaid washes when they check in?
The machine supports session packages, coupons, stored value and membership top-up; on FA-2025A the membership plan is optional. Whether you can issue packages or coupons to guests in bulk at check-in, and so is a link to campground reservation software. Tell us how your check-in works and we will confirm what is possible.
Will it run on a well and drain to a septic system?
It works at a water pressure of 0.2 to 0.4 MPa (2 to 4 bar), with two internal booster pumps. Each wash sends about 40 to 50 L of water to the DN40 drain, so confirm with local rules and your septic system’s designer whether it can take dog wash wastewater.
How do we get it onto a park with no loading dock?
Each machine ships fully assembled and tested in a wooden crate, with removable bottom rollers for final positioning. SE-2025A weighs approx. 470 kg net; FA-2025A weight, crate size. Plan a forklift or crane to unload the crate, and a firm route from the access road to the base.
Can guests pay by card or cash, or only on the touchscreen?
POS cashless payment on the touchscreen is standard on both models. A card terminal, a banknote acceptor and third-party online payment are available as add-ons. Flexible payments are standard on SE-2025A and optional on FA-2025A, so tell us which methods your guests expect and we will include them in the quote.
