For grooming salons
Automatic and Self-Serve Dog Washing Machines for Grooming Salons
Load the dog, choose a short, medium or long coat program, and the machine washes, rinses and warm-air dries in 20 to 30 minutes on average, then sanitizes the empty washing chamber. Your team runs it before a groom, or customers pay on the touchscreen and wash their own dog.
- Short, medium and long coat programs
- Five dispensers for your salon shampoos
- Ships assembled: connect water, drain and power
Where the Bath Fits in Your Grooming Day
Every full groom starts with a bath. Automatic dog washing machines for grooming salons move that pre-groom bath from the tub into an enclosed washing chamber, and self-serve dog washing machines for grooming salons let bath-only customers wash their own dog at a touchscreen. We build two: the SE-2025A and the FA-2025A.
Think about a fully booked day. A groomer or bather shampoos, rinses and dries each dog by hand, often under a high-velocity dryer, and that time comes out of the appointment book before any clipping or scissoring starts. Customers who only want a bath compete for the same tub and the same hands.
With a dog washing machine, your team loads the dog and picks the short, medium or long coat program on the 21.5-inch touchscreen. The machine runs the 360° fine-mist wash, the rinse and the 360° warm-air dry. Then ozone, ozonated water and UV sanitize the empty chamber before the next dog goes in. It does not clip, de-mat or style. That work stays with your groomers. See every site type we build for.
Self-Serve Dog Washing Machines for Grooming Salons: Why They Fit
Your salon already owns tubs and dryers. Here is why a dog washing machine still earns floor space beside them.
The Bath Runs on Its Own Cycle
Once a program starts, the machine handles the wash, rinse and warm-air dry in 20 to 30 minutes on average, with nobody holding a shower head. FA-2025A runs fully automatic from start to finish. On SE-2025A, a groomer can switch to manual mode at any time and finish with the handheld spray head and dryer.
Programs Set by Coat Length
Three presets cover short, medium and long coats. The wash and dry time of each is set in the backend, so a long-coated breed gets a longer cycle than a smooth-coated one. A thermostatic heater holds the water at a set, adjustable temperature, with dual temperature protection tested at our factory before shipment. On FA-2025A, the smart management backend is an option.
Your Salon Shampoos in the Dispensers Five independent dispensers
with 5 L tanks dose shampoo and conditioner at a set ratio, so you keep the products your groomers already trust, such as a hypoallergenic or deodorizing shampoo. Stock your usual brands, or buy from Drezen's own shampoo factory. Each wash uses roughly 30 ml.
A Sanitized Chamber Between Clients' Dogs
After every wash, ozone, ozonated water and UV sanitize the empty washing chamber, using a 265 nm UVC-LED module rated IP68. That supports a more hygienic washing environment between appointments, alongside your own salon cleaning routine. Read what sanitizes the chamber between dogs.
Four Ways a Salon Can Run It
| Operating model | Who runs it | How it is paid | What to decide first |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-groom bath before a full groom | Groomer or bather | Included in the groom price | Which program and duration fits each coat type; who loads and unloads the dog |
| Bath-only appointment (wash and dry, no cut) | Staff | Booked and paid at reception, as today | How bath-only slots sit in your appointment book next to full grooms |
| Customer self-wash during salon hours | Customer, with staff nearby | POS cashless payment on the touchscreen; card terminal or banknote acceptor as add-ons | Where wash customers enter and wait without crossing the grooming floor |
| Customer self-wash after the salon closes | Customer, unattended | POS cashless payment; memberships, session packages or coupons for regulars | Opening hours set in the backend; outdoor siting checks |
Built Around Your Grooming Workflow
A practical wash-to-groom process designed to fit naturally into your salon's daily operations
The machine connects to water, drainage and power only, so the best spot is usually on the route dogs already take between check-in, the bath and the grooming table, close to the plumbing your tubs use today.
In the Bathing Area, Beside Your Tubs
The shortest run to existing water and drain lines. A washed dog moves from the chamber to the grooming table without crossing reception. The machine exhausts 20% of its airflow as humid air into a room that already handles dryer moisture, so check the ventilation there.
A Self-Wash Room at the Front of the Salon
For customer washes. Wash customers enter from reception and never cross the grooming floor, which keeps dogs arriving for a groom apart from dogs leaving after a wash. Staff stay within reach if a customer needs help or a dog will not go in.
Outside the Shopfront or in the Car Park
For washes after the salon closes. The machine works indoors and outdoors and is adaptable to hot and humid climates, and a protective outer cabinet is available

The Business Case for a Dog Wash in Your Salon
Your return depends on your prices, staff costs and bookings, so we give you the drivers rather than our numbers.
Groomer Hours Spent on the Bath
The driver: dogs bathed per week, multiplied by the minutes your team spends washing and drying each one by hand today, multiplied by your hourly staff cost. Count only time a groomer can really use on another dog
Bath-Only Appointments Through the Machine
The driver: bath-only bookings per week that the machine handles, multiplied by your bath price, minus running costs. The 20 to 30 minute average cycle sets the ceiling: two to three cycles per machine per hour before loading and unloading time. Use your own booking data, not a market average.
Customer Self-Wash, Paid per Wash
You set the price per wash and the opening hours in the backend (on FA-2025A, with the optional smart management backend), and customers pay by POS cashless payment on the touchscreen. The driver: customers per week, multiplied by your price, minus running costs. See touchscreen payment and backend options.
Running costs per wash
- About 40 to 50 L of water
- About 1.5 kWh of electricity
- Roughly 30 ml of shampoo and conditioner

FAQ for Grooming Salon Owners
Can one dog be washed while our groomers work on another?
Once a program starts, the machine runs the wash, rinse and warm-air dry on its own. A physical emergency stop and a touchscreen emergency button both open the door automatically.
Can we set different programs for short, medium and long coats
Yes. Three presets cover short, medium and long coats, and the wash and dry duration of each is adjusted in the backend management system (on FA-2025A the smart management backend is optional). Water is held at a set, adjustable temperature, and five dispensers let your salon offer up to five shampoos and conditioners.
Can bath-only customers pay at the machine instead of at reception?
Yes. POS cashless payment on the touchscreen is standard on both models. Membership top-up, stored value, session packages and coupons can cover regular customers; the membership plan is optional on FA-2025A. A card terminal, banknote acceptor and third-party online payment are available as add-ons for both models.
Will the giant breeds we groom fit in the washing chamber?
Both models accommodate full-sized dogs, with no weight restriction. The FA-2025A washing chamber measures 535 × 820 × 870 mm.
