Automatic and Self-Serve Dog Washing Machines for Pet Stores
Your customers wash and dry their own dog on your store floor, with the shampoos you sell, while your team stays on the till and the shelves. A full wash and dry takes 20 to 30 minutes on average, and the empty washing chamber is sanitized before the next dog.
- Full wash and dry in 20 to 30 minutes
- Five dispensers for the shampoos you stock
- Factory direct, ships fully assembled
Adding a Dog Wash Service to Your Store
Your customers buy food, treats and shampoo from you, then go home and wash the dog in the bath or the garden. Automatic dog washing machines for pet stores move that wash onto your shop floor. With self-serve dog washing machines for pet stores such as the SE-2025A, the customer runs the wash and your team stays on the till.
You already have most of what the service needs. There is retail floor space, staff on the floor, a shampoo and grooming aisle, and often an in-store service such as grooming. Food brings customers back on a regular cycle, and a wash is one more reason to come in rather than order online.
The customer chooses a program for a short, medium or long coat on the 21.5-inch touchscreen and pays. The machine then washes, rinses and dries the dog with warm air. On SE-2025A, the customer or a member of staff can switch to manual mode at any time and finish with the handheld spray and dryer.
If your business is not a typical store, see other sites where a dog wash fits. Every machine is welded, wired and tested in our own factory in Hebei, China: how we build each machine.
Self-Serve Dog Washing Machines for Pet Stores: Four Reasons They Fit
Each reason below rests on something your store already has: a shelf, a till, aisles and regular customers.
Your Shelf Products in the Dispensers
The machine has five independent dispensers with 5 L tanks and doses shampoo and conditioner automatically at a set ratio. You choose up to five products, from your own range, a local supplier or Drezen’s own shampoo factory. A customer tries a hypoallergenic or deodorizing shampoo in the wash, then finds the same bottle on your shelf.
Staff Nearby, Customers in Control
The customer starts and runs the wash, so nobody on your team has to stand at a tub. On SE-2025A, anyone can switch to manual mode on the touchscreen and finish with the handheld spray and dryer. That lets a team member step in for a dog that will not settle. Pause and emergency buttons sit on the screen, and the emergency button opens the door automatically.
Payment and Memberships on the Screen
On SE-2025A, POS cashless payment and flexible payments are standard. The backend adds membership top-up, stored value, session packages, session cards and coupons, so a wash can sit inside your loyalty scheme. You set the price per wash and the opening hours yourself. See the payment and backend settings.
A Clean Floor Between Washes
The dog is washed inside an enclosed washing chamber, not an open tub, and dried with 360° warm air before it leaves. Wet dogs do not walk your aisles. Once the dog is out, ozone, ozonated water and UV sanitize the empty chamber. Read how ozone and UV sanitize the washing chamber.

Where It Fits on Your Store Floor
Most stores have three workable positions. The right one depends on where your water, drain and power already run, and on what your team can see from the till.
- Back wall beside an existing sink, grooming room or utility point, for short water and drain runs
- In sight of the till, so staff can see the machine while serving
- On a route that passes the shelves, especially shampoo and grooming products
- Away from food aisles and stock storage
- Indoors, on a level floor that can take approx. 470 kg

Each machine leaves the factory fully assembled and tested, in a wooden crate, on removable rollers. The drain hose ships loose to save crate space.
What Shapes the Return on an In-Store Dog Wash
We do not publish revenue figures, because the return depends on your store. These five numbers are the ones to estimate before you order.
Washes per Day
Start from how many dog owners already come through your door. A full cycle takes 20 to 30 minutes on average, which sets the ceiling per hour. Your opening hours set the rest.
Your Price per Wash
You set the price in the backend and can change it whenever you need to. We do not suggest a benchmark, because your local market and your other services decide it.
Memberships and Packages
Session packages, stored value and session cards let a customer prepay for several washes. Estimate how many of your regular customers would buy a package, and at what price.
Products Sold on the Same Visit
A customer who comes in for a wash is in your store, a few steps from your shelves. Treat any extra spend on shampoo, treats or food as a figure from your own sales data, never as a given.
Staff Time
Compare the time your team spends on a staff-run tub wash today with a wash the customer runs alone. That time, taken from your own rota, is the cost to set against the machine.
About 40 to 50 L of water per wash
About 1.5 kWh of electricity per wash
About 30 ml of shampoo and conditioner per wash
Multiply each figure by your local rates to get your own cost per wash. Longer programs use more.
Which Model We Recommend for Pet Stores
SE-2025A, Dual Mode
We recommend SE-2025A for most pet stores. You have staff on the floor and customers whose dogs vary, and dual mode covers both situations. Most washes run in automatic mode. When a dog will not settle, the customer or a team member can switch to manual mode on the touchscreen at any time, and a hesitant dog can start in manual mode on its first visit. An optional mode-switch button switches to manual and lifts the door in one press. Flexible payments are standard. See the SE-2025A dual-mode model.

Common Concerns From Pet Store Owners
Will Dogs Go Into It?
Not every dog accepts a dog washing machine on the first visit, so plan for that. The large door window keeps the dog in its owner’s view for the whole cycle, and an interaction window is available as an option on SE-2025A. On SE-2025A the owner can switch to manual mode at any time and finish by hand, or start a hesitant dog in manual mode. Matted coats still need a groomer.
Will It Bring Noise, Mess or Smells to the Shop Floor?
Washing and drying happen inside the enclosed chamber, and waste water runs straight to a DN40 drain. Ozonated water is used during the bath to support cleaning and help reduce odors, and the empty chamber is sanitized after every wash. The air system exhausts humid air, so plan ventilation if the machine sits in an enclosed corner.
What Happens If Something Breaks?
Every machine carries a 12-month warranty. Parts that fail from a manufacturing defect are replaced free of charge with original factory parts, and we send video guidance for troubleshooting. You also get lifetime technical support, online 24/7, free software upgrades and a long-term supply of original spare parts. Routine care is a refill and hygiene check about every 2 weeks: see the refill and hygiene check routine.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does someone on staff need to run the machine?
No. The customer selects a program and pays on the touchscreen, and the machine runs the wash and dry on its own. Staff only help when a customer asks, for example by switching SE-2025A to manual mode for a dog that will not settle. You set the price and opening hours in the backend.
Can we stock our own shampoo brands in the dispensers?
Yes. The machine has five independent dispensers, and you decide what goes in them: products from your own range, a local supplier or Drezen’s own shampoo factory. Each tank holds 5 L, and a cycle uses roughly 30 ml of shampoo and conditioner. The number of dispensers can also be customized.
Will an in-store dog wash take business from our grooming service?
The machine washes and dries; it does not clip, trim, de-mat or style. Matted coats still need a groomer, so the two services do different jobs. Position the wash for customers who only want a clean dog, and keep your grooming appointments for the rest. See dog washes in grooming salons.
Can the machine carry our store's branding?
Yes. Logo and pattern design is free, and the color and the touchscreen interface language can also be customized. For a fully custom or private-label unit built around your own concept, see our custom OEM and ODM machines.
