Start With How Your Site Runs
Choosing where a dog wash fits your business is a site question before it is an equipment question. Three points decide it: who is on site when a customer arrives with a dog, who starts the wash, and how the wash pays its way.
That is why we sort the eight settings we build for into three groups: staffed pet businesses, self-service sites and amenity sites.
Every Drezen automatic dog washing machine leaves our factory in Qing County, Cangzhou, fully assembled and tested, so the work at your site is connecting water, drainage and power. What changes between settings is the model, the payment set-up and a short list of planning checks. Find your group, compare the eight settings side by side, then read the page written for your type of site.
Staffed Pet Businesses
Pet stores, vet clinics and grooming salons have staff on site through opening hours. The wash runs as part of a service your team delivers, or customers use the dog wash station with help close by. The return comes from added spend, repeat visits or staff time handed back to paid work
Self-Service Sites
Car washes and gas stations already run on customers serving themselves, often through unattended hours. It works like any self-service dog wash equipment: the customer pays on the touchscreen, the machine does the work, and nobody may be watching. Pricing and opening hours do most of the commercial work.
Amenity Sites
Apartment complexes, campgrounds and RV parks, and dog parks offer the wash to residents, guests or park users. It may be free, charged per session or sold as a package. Operators judge it on leasing appeal and repeat stays as much as on wash income. A private dog park that charges per wash works more like a self-service site.
Eight Business Settings, Grouped by How They Run
Pet Stores
Put the wash on the retail floor and every dog that comes in for a bath walks past your shelves. You choose the five shampoo and conditioner products the machine dispenses, so they can match the ones you sell.
Grooming Salons
Hand the pre-groom bath to the machine and your groomers spend those 20 to 30 minutes clipping and finishing. Manual mode keeps a handheld spray head and dryer within reach. Matted coats still need a groomer.
Vet Clinics
Wash and dry a muddy patient after an appointment without pulling a staff member from the next consult. Once the dog leaves, ozone, ozonated water and UV sanitize the empty cabin, for a more hygienic washing environment between patients.
Car Washes
Customers in a self-serve bay are already used to paying a machine and doing the work. The SE-2025A gives them the same choice for the dog: let the automatic cycle run, or switch to manual mode.
Gas Stations
At a travel center, drivers stop for fuel, food and a break, and some have a dog on board. The FA-2025A takes POS cashless payment as standard and supports 24/7 operation with no attendant.
Apartment Complexes
A pet washing station in an amenity room gives property managers a resident amenity to show on leasing tours, and it helps keep muddy paws out of hallways. Residents pay per wash, or buy session packages through the optional membership plan.
Campgrounds & RV Parks
Guests come back from trails and lakeshores with wet dogs. The machine works outdoors, and its 4G option, with a SIM slot on the touchscreen, suits a dog run with no cabled internet.
Dog Parks
The wash sits where the visit ends: by the gate, after the mud. A public park and a members-only operation will charge differently, either per wash at the touchscreen or through the optional membership plan.

What Every Site Needs Before Delivery
The dog wash equipment arrives fully assembled and tested on removable bottom rollers, and the connectors ship with it. Your site supplies:
- Power: 110 to 240 V, 50 to 60 Hz; rated 7 kW (FA-2025A) or 8 kW (SE-2025A), on a dedicated circuit.
- Water: 0.2 to 0.4 MPa (2 to 4 bar). Two internal booster pumps adapt to supply pressure in most markets. Inlet G1/2 or G3/4 (BSPP), adapters supplied.
- Drainage: DN40, with a 3 m hose and connector supplied.
- Space: FA-2025A 1100 × 1100 × 2134 mm; SE-2025A 1880 × 1430 × 1672 mm. Check ceiling height and every doorway on the delivery route.
- Network: Wi-Fi, or 4G through the SIM slot.
Each cycle uses about 40 to 50 L of water and 1.5 kWh on average. A local electrician or plumber makes the connections, guided by our 24/7 online technical support. The full checklist is in the site installation guide.

Three Ways a Dog Wash Earns Its Place
A commercial dog wash station earns differently in each group, and none of these routes comes with a guaranteed result. The outcome depends on your footfall, pricing and local costs.
Pay per wash at self-service sites
The customer pays at the touchscreen and the cycle starts. You set prices and opening hours in the backend management system (optional on FA-2025A). Your running cost per wash comes from three consumption figures: about 40 to 50 L of water, 1.5 kWh of electricity and roughly 30 ml of shampoo and conditioner. Multiply each by your local rate, then allow for payment fees, rent and the machine itself.
Added spend and staff time at staffed pet businesses
In a pet store, the wash brings dogs and owners onto the retail floor, where footfall can turn into basket size. In a salon or clinic, the return can be time: every bath the machine runs frees a groomer or staff member for paid work. Count those hours before you count wash income.
Amenity value at amenity sites
At an apartment complex, a pet wash room is an amenity a property manager can point to when setting pet fees or pet rent, and when residents weigh whether to renew. At campgrounds, RV parks and dog parks, it adds to the guest amenities. Some operators charge per wash; others include it in a fee. Pet rent and retention benchmarks should come from a named source for your market.

H2: Don't See Your Type of Site?
These eight settings are the ones we have written pages for. They are not the only places a dog washing machine works. Describe your site on the quote form: who will use the machine, whether it will sit indoors or outdoors, and the space and utilities available. We customize dimensions, functions, color, interface language and payment systems. Importers, distributors and brand owners can start with custom OEM and ODM builds.
Questions About Choosing a Site
Which model suits my type of site?
As a starting rule, the FA-2025A suits sites where no one will be at the machine. It washes, dries and sanitizes the cabin on its own. The SE-2025A suits sites with staff on hand or customers who want to wash by hand, because it adds a manual mode. See the Drezen product range for the full detail.
Can a dog wash run with no staff on site?
Yes. The FA-2025A supports 24/7 unattended operation, with POS cashless payment as standard. A built-in camera for real-time monitoring is optional. Someone still needs to check the five 5 L shampoo tanks about every two weeks, along with the machine’s hygiene and normal operation.
What does a site need before installation?
Water, drainage and power, plus the floor space and height for your model. Nothing is assembled on site; a local electrician or plumber makes the connections.
Do you build machines for sites not listed here?
Yes. We customize our standard models and develop new designs as ODM projects. Every machine is quoted per order, and we reply within 1 to 2 business days.
